What You’ll Be Doing

The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) is responsible for acquiring the most qualified employees to meet the staffing needs of the Organization. Develops new strategies and programs to attract both qualified internal and external candidates to open positions and ensures a constant pipeline of qualified candidates are available for interviewing. This position works closely with the functional management teams on determining candidate profiles, curating recruiting plans, and customizing skill and testing requirements in order to bring the best talent to Percepta. This position will also assist with various other Talent Management duties as needed.

During a Typical Day, You’ll


• Act as a consultant to the business and advise them on market trends/competitive talent intelligence through developed expertise and knowledge, set clear expectations, and drive the partnership.
• Excel at understanding open roles – the skills, behaviors, and unique departmental fit.
• Full life cycle recruiting for assigned functional area including candidate engagement, assessment of candidate suitability and fit, managing the interviewing process, and closing/negotiating offers.
• Facilitate the use of Behavioral Based Interview Methodology throughout process and ensure that each Business Partner is "STARS Certified”.
• Execution of employment branding strategy including supporting the Percepta Careers social media and digital platforms.
• Certified Percepta Pro – this includes strong understanding of the business, our values, and go forward strategy – Brilliant at the Basics, Drive with Data, and Prepare for
Scale. Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position.
• Partner with TA Marketing Manager to write and publish effective job advertisements and social strategies.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results, and credibility.
• Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
• Post, update and ensure consistency of all internal and external job postings.
• Stay abreast of current legislation and policy changes to ensure recruiting activities follow all processes and procedures outlined by Percepta policies and Federal, State, and Local employment law.
• Facilitate post-offer process including technology requests, new employee onboarding, and orientation activities.
• Progressive and forward thinking on technology and processes to simplify and improve the hiring experience. Subject matter expert for recruiting technologies like TextRecruit, Chatbot functionality, Enboarder, etc.
• Responsible for forecasting and funnel reporting to measure effectiveness of our recruitment efforts- constantly striving for the best channels and applicant experience.

What You Bring to the Role


• Associate’s Degree preferred
• 2+ years’ experience working with and Application Tracking System (ATS) like Oracle, Taleo, iCIMS or comparable experience using a CRM like Salesforce, SAP, etc.
• Digital native – clear understanding of social, digital, gaming, etc. space and able to clearly discuss
• Communication skills – straightforward messaging based on channel. Excellent ability to listen, hear what a hiring manager needs are and what they are really looking for.
Capable of accurate and insightful interviewing and ability interpret body language to understand how candidates feel and what they think without them telling you.
• Marketing and sales - Recruiting is all about selling, especially in this uber competitive landscape. Ability to sell a position to a candidate, convince them to apply for it and accept an interview – keep them warm, anticipate needs, and make it #easy.
• Motivated and persistent – vigilant around follow up with all candidates and opportunities. Must be ambitious and eager to hit your goals each month.
• Relationship building skills – Cultivate relationships by establishing trust—you must be professional, reliable, knowledgeable, personable, and approachable.
• Multi-tasking - ability to handle multiple responsibilities at the same time and figure out which is your top priority. Remember the details of various jobs, companies, and candidates so you can effectively shift from one project to the next at any given moment.
• Time management skills – focus and keep your priorities straight. Be on time to meetings and deliver your promises in a timely fashion. Strong sense of urgency and work with time sensitive deadlines, you must be fast so you can place a candidate before a company finds another or your candidate finds a job with a different company.
• IT and Social Media Skills - stay apprised of the most up-to-date techniques and trends so you can use the technology most effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) required
• Understands the external marketplace and the impact it has on sourcing strategies (i.e. competition, unemployment rate, movement of companies in/out of area)
• Ability to develop strong relationships with all levels of management and external resources
• Strong organizational, planning and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and applicants

A Bit More About Your Role


It is an onsite role with hybrid privileges based on having a suitable home working space, maintaining performance standards, and aligned to business needs. A typical work week currently requires you to be on site 3 days a week. Some weeks may be less; however, you should also be aware that if it is required by the client, or to fulfil your recruitment requirements in busy periods, you may be on-site 5 days.
