Embarking on a career journey with TTEC in 2015, I began as an agent, a role that seemed straightforward at the outset. Fast forward to today, and my career trajectory within TTEC has been anything but linear.

It's a testament to the robust internal career growth opportunities that TTEC affords its employees, empowering them with control over their career path and supporting professional aspirations every step of the way. My career evolution at TTEC has benefited greatly from our positive work culture and amazing leadership – both instrumental in my success.

A Journey of Continuous Advancement

My start came as a credit card member service representative (MSR), and at the time I couldn’t really foresee how my customer experience path would unfold. It was a simple enough job, and I did quite well.

With an eagerness to learn and contribute, I got the opportunity to be dual trained for other services still under my MSR role. Leveling up my skills then led to a pivotal moment in my career – assisting with nesting a new hire class.

I truly enjoyed helping my coworkers improve how they take care of our customers. This experience uncovered a passion for mentoring and supporting my colleagues. In 2018, one of the best internal career growth opportunities came my way: a chance to become a trainer! I seized it without hesitation.

This transition wasn't merely a change in title but a complete shift in my professional development. It allowed me to refine my leadership and communication skills, and more importantly, to play a part in shaping the careers of new TTEC employees. This progression from agent to a trainer highlights TTEC's commitment to recognizing potential and nurturing talent in whatever career direction suits them best.
