What You’ll Do
Are you results-focused and love to help others? Do you have a passion for maximizing sales opportunities? In this role, you’ll use your needs-based sales approach effectively, recommending client products that match each member’s lifestyle and requirements. Focused on educating the customer on their current product(s), you’ll also identify and capitalize on all other sale opportunities for products that may pair well with their current products and future needs. Whether it’s getting answers for customers quickly, consulting on products with compassion or resolving their issues with a smile, you’ll be the difference between their customer experience being just average or an exceptional one.
You'll report to the Sales Manager. You’ll contribute to the success of the customer experience as well as the overall success of the team.
During a Typical Day, You’ll
Apply strong knowledge of products and brand positioning, along with goal-oriented and negotiation skills, to achieve individual sales targets and maintain strong compliance standards.
Effectively recommend suitable policies through need-based selling with customers to close the sale while identifying and compliantly handling all sales opportunities.
Efficiently manage a high volume of inbound and outbound customer interactions, maximizing conversion rates, and maintaining high levels of productivity.
Consistently deliver exceptional member satisfaction in every customer interaction.
What You Bring to the Role
Minimum 1 year of sales experience, preferably in health insurance but not required.
Proven track record of working efficiently and in full compliance within strict financial services or insurance regulations.
Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and possesses a strong track record of consistently achieving and exceeding demanding sales targets.
Ability to manage communications and full sales lifecycle in an omnichannel communication environment, which could include outbound calls via phone, email and chat
Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems for efficient lead management and performance tracking
Flexibility to work rotating shifts that could include weekdays 9am to 8pm & Saturdays 9am – 2pm (during peak periods).
