Preparing for Day 1
Frequently Asked Questions about Day 1
When does training begin onsite?
Great question! Your recruiter will connect with you about your training schedule, so you’ll know your start date. You’ll also hear from your trainer on the Tuesday of the week of your training. Training starts on Thursdays.
It's my first day. Where do I park?
We’re glad you asked – head over here to learn more about parking and how to get to Hayden Ferry. Park on the second floor and up, grab your parking ticket and bring it with you for parking validation.
I'm onsite, where do I go from here?
You’ll head to our office building. Your first day you won’t have a badge to access the building, so please alert our friendly security guards and they will let you in the building.
Once you’re in the building, head towards the elevators and you’ll see the TTEC office. Once you’re in the lobby, you’ll take your photo for your shiny new badge that will provide you with access to the main building and our suite.
Tell me more about training
Get excited because training is an opportunity to learn all the things to set you up for success! We’ll cover TTEC Essentials the first two days so you walk away learning more about our purpose, mission, values and more. We’ll have introductions, tour our awesome space (checkout the amenities!), review the onboarding process and essential paperwork. We’ll also review your new hire packet, benefits, tax forms and setting up direct deposit.
We’ll also review your new hire packet.
When you come back on Monday, we’ll start on your program training.
Monday training is here. What's next?
It’s client orientation time. Now we’ll move into product training for your program. You’ll learn more about our iconic client AKA “the world’s largest search engine”.
But we bet you want to know... how long is training?
Training can be anywhere from 2-6 weeks depending on the program. You’ll learn more about what your specific program covers during this time including any client-specific certifications you may receive and what the steps are towards your graduation from training.
What is a graduation call?
A graduation call is a final/formal roleplay opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge you’ve accumulated over your weeks of training.
What happens once training ends?
You know the support you felt in training? It’s ongoing! Our specialized managers will help you acclimate to life on the production floor (AKA Acclimation Week). They’ll support you every step of the way.
After training, what's my schedule?
Some positions are more aligned with specific shifts, other positions are more autonomous – ask your Recruiter/Trainer for specific details! Remember, communication is key so let us know what questions you may have.
