The Director of Contracts is imperative to our Legal team supporting the Global Operations of TTEC's Engage business segment, the company’s largest business segment. 

The key objectives of the role are to be an informed partner and a primary point of contact for one or more portfolios within the Engage division and to help secure and deliver business by achieving balanced contract terms reflecting best practices in the industry, and market appropriate cost/risk allocation. The role presents a significant opportunity to partner with senior business leaders, and highly experienced and tenured teammates.

What you’ll be doing:

Provide contract review, drafting, and negotiation support for TTEC’s business process outsourcing, technology, and consulting businesses. The successful candidate will work in partnership with the go-to-market, operations, delivery and other functional teams to close complex and simple business engagements for multinational clients and provide enthusiastic support for deals ranging in size from $1M - $100+M in annual contract value. The role would support the entire business pursuit, including contract negotiation and delivery process for NDAs and RFPs, master services agreements and scopes of work, as well ascontract interpretation and change management. Although the successful candidate report to and work under the guidance of the Chief Counsel, TTEC Engage, they will‘own’ the entire contract life cycle from the early stages through approvals for the portfolios they support in accordance with TTEC policies.

During a Typical Day, You’ll

·Contract Review & Negotiation: Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including NDAs, RFPs, MSAs, and SOWs.

·Business Deal Support: Partner with go-to-market, operations, and delivery teams to close complex business deals for multinational clients.

·Contract Lifecycle Management: Own the entire contract lifecycle, from early stages to approvals, ensuring compliance with TTEC policies.

·Client Partnership: Serve as a primary point of contact for one or more specific business portfolios, building strong client relationships.

·Risk Mitigation: Negotiate balanced contract terms that minimize risk and allocate costs appropriately.

·Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with legal, finance, HR, IT, information security, and other funtional teams to ensure compliance.

·Process Improvement: Maintain and update contract templates and processes, staying current on industry best practices.

·Client-Facing Role: Requires excellent communication, collaboration, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. 

What You Bring to the Role

·A minimum of 7+ years’ experience in complex contract drafting and negotiations. Experience in large global organizations is a plus.

·Bachelor’s degree is a must. J.D. or other relevant advanced degree is a plus, but not a requirement.

·Outsourcing, technology, healthcare, regulatory, banking, or financial services experience are a plus.

·Proven oral and written communication skills.

·Advanced computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

·Experience with an automated contracts life cycle management (CLM) system is a strong plus.

·Ability to think and to work independently with minimal supervision.

·Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

·Detail oriented, high degree of professionalism.

·Experience working with contract resources in India or another offshore location is a plus.

The anticipated range is $120,000-130,000. Actual compensation offers to a candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill levels.
