What You’ll Do
Do you love to plan, build, and analyze marketing campaigns to help drive brand awareness, lead engagement, and demand generation? Do you value being a technical subject matter expert, able to support ongoing technical and best practices in close collaboration within a larger marketing organization? As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you will lead campaign and demand generation initiatives, primarily working in Pardot, and collaborating with the marketing design and content teams to implement best practices for email and nurture sequences, as well as campaign optimization and engagement scoring.
You'll report to the Digital Experience Senior Manager. You’ll contribute to the success of the business by enabling email, lead nurturing, and demand generation best practices to demonstrate why TTEC is the best CX partner in the market and help grow lead volume, quality, and engagement. This role will also focus heavily on gathering, building, and analyzing reports to inform strategic decisions.
During a Typical Day, You’ll
- Build lead nurturing programs, including the creation of Engagement Studio or equivalent programs in Pardot:
- Configuration of cadence, actions, and rules
- Implementation of email nurture best practices
- Reporting of sequence metrics and optimization opportunities
- Create/edit Pardot email templates, adding uploaded and dynamic send lists and suppression lists, and testing and scheduling of email sends, based on campaign and list criteria.
- Implement personalization configurations such as dynamic content blocks and/or merge scripting.
- Create Pardot web forms, including autoresponder emails, completion action rules, and campaign syncs to CRM (Salesforce), to support marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Create page actions and automation rules to enhance database accuracy, actionable insights, and lead categorization and campaign alignment.
- Build and manage detailed reports and analytics to meet the needs of the marketing and sales teams, and analyze these reports to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
- Perform Pardot database audits to ensure data hygiene, mailability status, tags, and dynamic lists consistency, and new and ongoing page actions and automation rules accuracy.
What You Bring to the Role
- 3+ years of B2B marketing experience in building, editing, and launching marketing automation projects in platforms such as Pardot (aka Marketing Cloud Account Engagement), Hubspot, Marketo, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Demonstrable experience working hands-on with Pardot or similar tools, including:
- Email build, configuration, testing, and sending
- Email engagement analytics and reporting
- Email nurture sequencing and automation programs
- Experience creating and analyzing reports for actionable insights to guide strategy.
- Experience with lead activity engagement scoring and ideal customer profile grading, including lead and CRM data hygiene via list building, custom and default fields, and automation rules.
- Some experience with CRM platforms, particularly as it pertains to mapping data to and from marketing automation tools (e.g., campaign creation, campaign member assignment, and field sync).
- Education requirement:
- BA/BS in Marketing or a related technical field
- General knowledge of HTML and CSS for creating email templates, including experience with best practices for email structure, design, and layout across devices and clients.
- Knowledge in data querying and analysis tools such as SQL, Excel.
- Experience with analytics tools for data visualization, reporting, and analysis (e.g., Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau).
- Experience working within an Agile project management approach to multi-task and prioritize numerous concurrent projects and initiatives.
