What you’ll be doing
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of leadership within the organization, ensuring that leaders at all levels are equipped to drive success and foster a high-performance culture across the globe. The Director of  Leadership Development is a strategic partner responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing leadership development programs across all levels within a large, global organization. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in leadership development, organizational behavior, and strategic alignment to drive leadership excellence and organizational effectiveness on a global scale.

You'll report to the Chief Learning Officer and will be a key part of this team impacting our global operation as part of a world-class team of professionals  

During a Typical Day, You’ll

  • Strategic Leadership Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive leadership development strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals and global business needs. Ensure the strategy addresses leadership needs across all levels, from emerging leaders to senior executives.
  • Program Design & Implementation: Lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative leadership development programs. Tailor programs to meet diverse cultural and regional needs while ensuring consistency with global standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior executives, HR leaders, and business unit heads to identify leadership gaps and requirements. Act as a trusted advisor to executives and senior leaders on leadership development initiatives and succession planning.
  • Learning & Development Solutions: Direct the design team to create and deliver impactful learning solutions, including workshops, coaching, mentoring programs, and e-learning modules. Ensure the integration of cutting-edge methodologies and technologies to enhance learning experiences.
  • Assessment & Evaluation: Design and utilize assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of leadership development programs. Monitor and analyze program outcomes, leveraging data to make informed recommendations and drive continuous improvement.
  • Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives by equipping leaders with the skills needed to navigate and lead through change effectively. Foster a culture of adaptability and resilience within the leadership ranks.
  • Training New Team Leaders: Develop and implement targeted training programs for new team leaders in a contact center environment across the globe. Ensure these programs effectively onboard new leaders, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to manage teams, drive performance, and align with contact center goals.
  • Global Talent Management: Partner with the people business partners to identify and oversee the identification and development of high-potential talent across regions. Implement global best practices in talent management and leadership development to build a robust leadership pipeline.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in leadership development. Share insights and thought leadership to influence and shape the organization’s approach to leadership.
  • Cross-Cultural Competency: Develop and execute leadership programs that are culturally sensitive and relevant to a diverse global workforce. Ensure programs are inclusive and address regional variations in leadership practices.

What You Bring to the Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in leadership development, with a proven track record of designing and executing programs for global organizations.
  • Strong understanding of leadership theories, adult learning principles, and coaching methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other technology platforms.
  • Experience with global talent management and cross-cultural leadership development.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess program effectiveness and drive data-driven improvements.
